Lie Next To You Poem by Maddie 'Rae' Berry

Lie Next To You

Rating: 5.0

I see you from across the classroom
A glowing light in the doom...
Well maybe that was a slight exaggeration on my part
but seeing you does thing to my heart

To thump and shake again
My breath starts to quake again
I don't know where to start
But all I know is that you have stolen my heart

Because I see you looking at me and I hope you seeing,
what’s true, the happiness I have felt around you.
Oh you are the one
I should've know that right from the start

If only I could lie next to you,
I would wrap my arms around your waist
and kiss you on the face. You warm in my embrace,
I would just marvel at your sweet taste
Come on love there really is no time to waste.
