Lie Of A Lifetime Poem by Jackie Crow

Lie Of A Lifetime

The truth will inspire,
The soul of one like me,
Yet I am a liar,
I have and will always be.

Life is too loud,
Death is too quiet,
And with that I bowed,
Although I still deny it.

My performance was great,
So I was told,
It was just a lie, filled with hate,
But I can act like I own a heart of gold.

I feel no regret,
I never do,
This lie will not be reset,
Until my life is reset too.

Why did I do it?
I will never tell.
Unlock this secrest with wit,
I wish you well.
