Lies - Poem by Jharlin Saloma

You see that, s the tricky thing about us,
we begin to get smart about after a while,
you know catch on to your foolish games,
we start to see things clearer and question your presence,
then we start to listen to those who've asked us all along if we were true,
soon those distant voices start to become louder and closer,
asking us if what you say is true,
whether or not what you feel is all a lie,
a false lie,
a lie in which you have created for your sick twisted mind,
i lie that that's has me so convinced that the truth no longer exists
