Lies Poem by Driss Ezzireg

Lies

Rating: 5.0

People hate them hot
Leaving little red spots
On their clean faces.
People like them velvet
That caress their senses
With little or no offences.
People like them green
To make life better
With salt and pepper.
People hate them raw
That gnaw and gnaw
At the bones till marrow.
People like them sweet
That give them a push
In a new day's rush.
People share them for free
To make their dreams smarter
And life's journey lighter.
