I wrote another poem about you today
But it was full of nothing but lies
It’s nothing new
you said that you loved me
But we all know how you really feel
Nothing but hate unfolding in your eyes
The blackness running through your heart
Saying hurtful things
But yet I hide behind my poems
That I only wish were true
Maybe one day you'll just know
How you treat everyone the same
Besides when it comes to me
Nothing but slaps and cuts
Come from your loving hands
The yelling and screaming
That comes from your wonderful mouth
I just wish I could leave like I said I would
But I keep running back
Just to get abused
Cause that’s all I know
Is what your love showed me
I ran away again today
And left my poems far behind
You read everything
And for some reason you changed
You’re a whole different person
I just can’t believe
I still don’t know who you are
And don’t know what you did with yourself
But whoever you are
When you tell me that you love me
Mean it forever
And not just that second
Cause even if I die I’ll still run back to you
Forever in your abusive arms
