I was born, a night full of storms.
Yet, I was at peace.
For I had my whole life ahead,
And this was just a storm.
So naturally, I had to be schooled,
Because the whole world was fooled.
Always searching for the truth,
Always trying to give my life a meaning.
Yet, I was at peace,
Because this was just a piece.
I started searching for a job,
A job to make others rich.
Forced to kiss asses,
Trodden down by superior masses.
Yet, I did that all,
I felt that I was at peace,
For I still had some life to live.
Now I am withered and old,
My body just waiting to get cold,
Resenting others for the lies they told.
Now I have time, but no one to spend with.
Now I realize that life is just a myth.
Yet, I am at peace.
In the knowledge that it is all over.
FINALLY OVER
Now I have time, but no one to spend with. Now I realize that life is just a myth. Yet, I am at peace. In the knowledge that it is all over. FINALLY OVER... the truths of life presented in a vivid manner....... thank you very much dear poet. tony

Lovely philosophical piece of poetry that depicts the essence of taking things and varying situations in stride, well articulated and nicely penned with insight. Thanks for sharing Joshi.
