Life Poem by Melchisedeck Roche

Life

Life

Life is not materials
It is not houses, it is not cars
Life is not worldly
Life is not letters found floating in jars

Life was bestowed
Before hands and feet
From before and after the womb
Life enjoyed a heartbeat.

Life flows like a river
That sometimes meets mountains but never stops
Life may be confusing,
But the beauty is in untying the knots

Life is a challenge
Life is a mystery
Life is the search for love
Life is your destiny

Life requires purpose
Life requires meaning
Life must be examined
To be worthy of living

Life is everywhere
It's boundaries reaches far and wide
From the deep depths of the sea
To far far beyond the skies

Life goes beyond the Heavens
To places that are unknown
Places hidden from man
Until God calls us home

Life can be so meaningless
But yet so beautiful
And it is up to you and me
To make this life meaningful
