In between two dots- birth and death he dangles like a piece of cloth on a thin rope called hope
that connects both
being exposed to the gale of summer
and to the hail of winter he totters and often looks up to spring
for some warmth and cheer
and sobs and sulks at the prospect of the drop when he looks at death
that grins at standing at the other end.
