Life is confusing, life is a wreck
But I wouldn't trade mine for the world
Dreams can shatter and hearts can break
But don't let that hold you back
Things can get sticky and things can get messy
But don't be afraid of the mud
Dive right in and get back up
And when life gets rough, get tougher

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade
And call me over to share
And when life gives you something, delicious and sweet
Still call me over to share

Life can be mean and life can be hateful
But don't let it beat you up
People will hurt you and people will leave you
But never let them win
Friends will betray you, stab you right in the back
But pull the knife out and keep moving on
Move on and forget all the pain
