Life for me ain't have no silver spoon.
Just heart ache and pain.
Had to grow up too soon.

Life for me has seen the best of hard times.
Molestation by an uncle and an environment full of crime.

My life wasn't easy but it made me the best.
I grew up to be a success after all of life's tests.

My life is a testimony of taking the bad with the good.
And how it's many changes pushed me out the 'hood.

And today I can't regret none of the heartache and strife.
Because the lessons they've taught made me stronger in life...
