Life After You Poem by Anonymous Seeker

Life After You

I look fine, I smile
I act fine, I laugh.
inside i'm screaming,
I'm so broken and sad

Each day I remember,
how your love felt.
how your arms felt safe,
and your kiss would make me melt.

I look at our babygirl,
and I remember how you left.
when I needed you most,
but all you did was forget.

Forget that you promised,
you would never hurt me.
Told me we'd be together forever,
and you would never leave.

Now I sit here,
crying silently to myself.
Feeling the pain,
and dealing with my life thats left.

For no one can see,
how much you truely mean.
No one would understand,
what your love meant to me.

Now you don't even think,
about me or our daughter.
You don't ask about us,
or try to be her father.

You have left us alone,
to take care of ourselves.
We struggle and fight,
but you don't try to help.

You have a new life,
that doesn't involve us.
You dont want, or need,
or care, or love.
