Life And Time Poem by Cletus Christopher Thomas

Life And Time

The uncertainties in life stays uncertain
And the uncertainties remain certain
Time reveals and heals

Smile today, laugh today, cry today
Only for those feelings to be gone
A time for everything

Man is born to trouble
Pressure, pleasure, treasure we hold to
With much pain and gain life offers

Happy moments, sad moments,
Only to be taken all away by time
For time is all we have

Hope perches on the soul like a dove
We move on, we live on, only to be no more
For time is all we have.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A poem about Life and Time by Cletus Christopher Thomas reflecting on how time affects our lives and ways. Its a poem that entails the fact that time comes and goes and we may not have much time to live a moment as we might think. Considering the quote: Time waits for no one, time keeps going as we keep living and also alter the things happening to us, around us shaping things into place we had never expected, imagined, or even anticipated.
