Life As Envisaged Poem by Gautam Sen

Life As Envisaged

Life is alive
try to feel it;
life is alive
try to fill it
with all the spices of life.

Life is beautiful
'cause you offer its beauty
at the behest of your honesty.
Each little creation
so contributed
is added to its plenty.

Life is full of life -
treat your mind
as an untarnished knife,
full of perils
but worthy too -
peel the life
to reach the core of it.

Grief set aside,
bloom its every new leaf
to look it green with life.
Open your mind
to find you amidst the life –
a paragon of beauty.

Life is short
but not so much
that a deed-less life
you need to live;
creation never stops
rather rolls on,
with your intuition,
make the best use of it.

What is ugly,
what is distress,
what is failure - all in a life
remain within.
Let them rest at the bottom
to bring the life to the brink;
as fresh as crystal
as sweet as nectar,
bring your lips to drink.
