Life Becomes More And More Difficult



Life becomes more and more difficult
We both are not well
There seems no mercy or justice in it all-

Older and older
Sicker and sicker
Weaker and weaker
Sadder and sadder-

"We must fight and have courage"
We tell ourselves
But when the real pain comes
And one doesn't know what illness
To address first
What is there to say?

And can we makethe Determination and Courage
Really matter?
