Life Begins Again Poem by Mohammad Younus

Life Begins Again

Life begins again
Dancing till the end
Endless turns and whirls
To the celestial flute,
Enough to dissolve
In the sea of eternal music.

Another life to spend
Gazing at the divine face,
Dreaming, pleading, waiting
For the divine speech to whisper
Secrets I yearn to bear.

If only I could look within
And discover a divine presence,
One akin to the one I've known
In eternity, on the Day of Alast—
Then I would truly know my essence.

My past love never rejected,
My heart, gracefully enlightened
By the melodious voice, unfolding
The unread pages of the hidden tome,
Freeing me from discordant echoes.

My wings now flutter with grace.
He hides not His face, but graces me
With what He revealed long ago—
In eternity, when of His spirit
He had blown into me.
I feel the same as at the dawn of time.

Pardon my words, my dear Lord,
If they come off as rude,
But I now realize what I must do:
To evolve beyond crude sentiments
And show the world what I must prove—
I am born of the purest breath of the divine.
