Life Can Never Get Better Poem by H Seeking

Life Can Never Get Better

Can I keep you close
Or even use your prose?
Just want to be your rose

All morning and all night
Just keep you close real tight
Never out of sight?

I swear I'd be the richest
When I lay my head on your chest
With you I'd be blessed

When with just the thought
My soul was wrought
And your company sought

With a glance
I change my stance
And begin to poetically prance

With a touch the earth shook
Why, I might even write a book
In one cosy little nook

A day by the bay?
I might sing a song right away
Or maybe float like the sun's ray

Perhaps fireworks will light
And fill with delight
Maybe even a volcano erupt inside

A lifetime together
I can hope for none better
That would be a red letter

Like the burst of spring
Like a bird on the wing
My heart begins to sing

Together you and I will bring
Peace and for our soul wings
Meet in heaven with a ring
