Life Event Poem by Ruerd Visser

Started out like a tiny seed,
planted in mothers womb
by a heavenly deed.
Enjoyed a celestial season,
cherished as i am
in a close bond.
Until the time was there,
to enter the earthly realm.
And i had to leave,
my comfortable place.
For the first time
i was completly on my own,
Until mothers love was shown.
By nurturing me and holding me close.
But the creator of all
had planted a tiny seed
of love and prosperity in my mind.
And the desire to plant this seed
in the earthly realm.
For long it seemed hard,
in a world so seemingly harsh.
And i started to wonder,
and to wander a long time.
Looking for a place to plant
and nurture that love and prosperity.
But heaven prevails,
thank to all the earthly hails.
This world so seemingly harsh
and relentless, will never be the same
now that i am here!
And that rings a bell,
to many more souls
seeking to overcome
the earthbound spirit.
And re-member the whisper
of our celestial friends.
The ones that remain,
and remind you you are without a stain.
For whatever you have done,
or forgot to do.
We all have to walk the path,
amongst the most daring of all.
Trying and tending as we bring
down a bit of heaven down at earth.
Cause we are the descendants of
gods desire to create wherever he goes.
So bring a little heaven on earth,
with the power vested in you!
And share the glory,
that was told in every story
whispered by angels.
