Life (For Missy) Poem by David Duease

Life (For Missy)

Life can be so soft and fragile,
It can end in the blink of an eye.
Be it short, or be it long,
Who are we to question why?

For some it just comes easy,
And others it's hard and cold.
But life can sometimes be unfair,
And not wait until you're old.

Who's to say it's right or wrong
To live life hard and fast.
Or if you live it slow and careful,
Either way, each day could be your last.

But life goes on forever,
And we never really die.
We'll miss them here on earth of course,
But there's no need to cry.
