Life Forgotten Poem by Div Nair

Life Forgotten

Fading away right in front of the eyes,
Recognize who you see everyday in the mirror?
Despair or contempt?
Myriad of memories frozen deep down under,
Skeletal remains of a vibrant past resting in the attic forgotten,
Would there be a going back?
