Life Gone Bad Poem by vickie fuhriman

Life Gone Bad

Everyone tells me I'm stupid for loving you,
But that never really seems to matter.
Because of you, I wanted to be alive,
Just to see the sunrise bouncing off your face.
I didn't think I could ever want to live,
But somehow you made me love,
And want to live forever!
I'm not quite sure how you managed it,
But now thanks to you I'm me again-
Somehow I can love life again.
That is until you broke my heart....
Now that you're gone,
So is my will to live!
I will never be able to love life as I did with you,
Nor will I ever be whole again.
No matter what people say,
I loved, love, and will always love you!

I like your romantic sentiment and the zest for life you express up to the point that you were abandoned. But, now is not the time to self destruct. Besides, you are at a point where you can take all the passion and zest you had for this boy and pour it into a different type of love, a love of math, poetry, painting, drawing, science, history, literature. Do not worry about boys now. Love will find you. Get your head screwed on straight, find your passion, and make something of yourself. Do this, and the other will take care of itself.
