Life is really a gift from God up above
It is a labor of his enormous love
A love that is never ending
It is a love that is forever bending

He channels it through family and friends
And we know that he has the power to cleanse
For we all do things in our life
That cause so much turmoil and strife

But with our daily prayers
He is there to handle our daily affairs
Listen and learn God’s laws
For men have many flaws

Look down deep inside
For it’s by God’s rules we must abide
And learn how to survive
So we don’t feel deprive

Lord enter my heart and stay
And show me the right way
To live my life and learn to pray
So I may live with you someday

To give you the love you deserve
For my Lord it’s you I serve
So come my Lord enter into my heart
Because you belonged there from the start
