Waking up from the bed at the
kiss of early morning Sun;
Lazily spending a couple of minutes
doing a wake-up self-test;
Slowly relaxing all my muscles as if to
further delay vacating the bed and
Welcoming to another beautiful Dawn;
Sipping my morning Coffee loaded with
trade mark Special Aroma my Best Half;
Listening to the pre-loaded songs
that I used to hear in my childhood;
Going through the thick patches of greenery
around in the guise of morning walk;
Enjoying the serene early morning
listing to the cohoo, cohoos of cuckoos;
With my wife imitating those cohoos
childishly till she is tired off;
Inhaling the scented smells of
mist covered lilies and jasmines;
Shielding ourselves from
the early morning chill;
from out of the comfort of
Tender rays of morning Sun;
creeping in sheepily
from the creepers around;
Following thereafter, our usual routine
to enjoy the morning breakfast;
With the steaming aroma of
fresh Local Vegan food
guiding our way to a road side shop;
Savoring the taste by
Giving my attentive ear to hear
Her daily ear-cast of
happenings in our Community;
Sitting in the Corner of our palatio,
Going through the News Paper Headlines;
Listening to the chants of the
daily prayers of my Commander;
Which vibrates not only the surroundings around,
But also mystifying the inner most strings of my heart;
Oh! What a perfect way to open up Our Day
in such Tranquil feel and total Bliss;
Mixing myself with the Mother Nature,
Further enhanced with my Oneness with Her;
A Dream which became real,
only after I was shown the doors
by my Office in the guise of retirement;
Prompting me to Relish a Life
which I missed for Decades;
A Life with Myself as the Monarch
to decide my own priorities;
A Phase with the Time Table
designed by my own own self;
A liberty to enjoy at my own pace;
Thank YOU for all this and making
A BEAUTIFUL LIFE REALLY BEAUTIFUL;
Life if really beautiful. Very inspirational poem. Some one should read it who does not really realize LIFE. Thanks for sharing.
