I have dreamed many a dream that didn't come true
I have woken up many a time to skies that aren't blue
but life is still worth living for me
life is worth living for me

I have lived through depressing moments
I have seen wars and pain and torment
but the world is still a better place to be
life is the better side to be

I have had trials and I have failed
and again and again followed same trail
but I have seen leaves grow from fallen trees
and that is hope enough for me

I will live as long as i don't die
nobody makes it out alive
