Life Is Just Waiting For Death Poem by Kyle Delaney

Life Is Just Waiting For Death

When there is no one else around, the world turns differently. When I start to think, remember, remains, and notice, then green goes to yellow, goes to orange, goes to red, goes to gray, goes to black. I finely start to realize that life is just waiting for death and death is just the destination of the long, hard journey of life. Then questions enter my thoughts. Why? What? How? Am I really me? Is it worth it? Do I really know my friends and family? Do I really know me? I get taken over by emotions and thoughts spill out of my head, overflowing, and before I know it, I drift off to sleep, I lay to rest, I reach my long searched for destination.
