That day when you wake to know
life all around you,
is there to help you grow, ,

She smiled so politely
yet in her eyes,
an attraction, she'd love to realize

I walked in
some thought in mind

on my cheeks,
that perpetual grin
just seeking a place
to slow down
unwind, , ,

I never expected
to find the love
of my life, in a Diner, ,

never would have thought, ,
all those many miles, ,
all that time
spent without love
like living through a Drought, ,
and a Thunderstorm suddenly
bust loose, ,
smothering you, , ,
setting free, , now it's loose, , ,
Loves come over you, , , ,


all your life you're seeking
for what you may not understand

but when it finds you, , ,
, , it's so easy then, , ,
as it lands
