Life Is Too Short Poem by Terry Dunham

Life Is Too Short

Life is too short

Life is too short;
Can’t we work this out?
Let’s talk about it.
Remember Love.
We’re people with feelings,
We bleed when we’re hurt.
Machines only rust and break down.
Warmth and patience;
Gentleness and tenderness.
Truth doesn’t have to be
As hard as nails.
Cover a multitude of sins,
But not with steel
And harsh looks and words
And multiplied lies.
Life is too short.
Remember what is most important.
