Life Is Torment Poem by Colonel Muhamad Khalid Khan

Life Is Torment

Life Is Torment
Life is a torment from beginning till end
How to cope up with trials empty hands
To cover the tears we may have all trends
Flowers are for tombs not only garlands
Life has different shades and different styles
Fate and fortune pay but a dominant role
Very many trials are hidden under sweet smiles
Under the burden of grief cries but a soul
Survival to get pleasure passes through pain
What to say and where to just pass by
Handcuffs are on hands from chain to chain
From where one can neither fly nor fly
