Like Goldfish in a bowl,
Life keeps us trapped at times,
Trying to amuse others,
Unable to ever smile,

Fish live as long as fed;
Suddenly all are dead;
This applies to us,
Human beings as well.

Be happy in life then;
Life is so transient;
Learn to throw more smiles,
And gladden hearts though cold.

The aim of life is to live,
In way we think is best;
When joy to others we give,
God gifts us a blissful nest.

Why fret and fume in life?
Why live in fear of strife?
Let problems come, so what;
We can change our lot!
