LIFE IS UNCERTAIN



Life is uncertain-
And because of this we live in anxiety and fear-

The strong shape the future as best they can
But even they cannot overcome all Time and Circumstance-

Life is uncertain-

Writing a poem is not knowing where it will end
Or the way a line should be stressed
Or whether it’s writer is right to write this now.

Life is uncertain
In the smallest and in the greatest things-

Our life our death-
What will be with our loved ones-

If some of us pray to God so strongly
It is also because we need help with that uncertainty –

Lonely as we are
Afraid as we are
Uncertain as we are-

We pray to God
To help us make our way wisely
In this uncertain world.
