A small table
Two beers
Two glasses
Two people
Two hearts
Beating together
Arms reaching out
Across the table
To hold each others hand
Exchanging glances
A constant smile
So much to share
So much to say
We will need
More than a day
As the sun sets
Darkness falls
Together we leave
Walking away
Holding hands
We will never
Have to look back again
Because our life
Lies in front of us
As together we'll walk there
