Life's Many Choices Poem by India Aquene

Life's Many Choices

We’ve traveled so long down this one way road and nobody said we have to be here.
We chose this ourselves knowing it would be hard, not knowing exactly where it would take us.
Now that we’re on this one way road, there will be many an exit, an easy way out.
If we take it we could ruin all of the progress we have made.
In the end the one way road might not Stay a one way road.
It might break off into a million different roads with a million different choices.
And in the end, though the end may not be in sight, taking the long, one way road, will be worth it because a road can’t go one way forever.
