Life's Pain Poem by Rebecca Moors

Life's Pain

Rating: 4.0

I cry my last tear, for, I’ll cry no more.
Life, filled with pain and misery, leaving my heart nothing
but sore.
I wonder about today and tomorrow and all I’ve lost.
About all the people I’ve come across.
Life is but a dream, or so they say.
But what happened to the people from yesterday?
Are they the ones with needs?
And, will they become the ones who do foolish deeds?
What happens to those in sorrow?
Will they be happy tomorrow?
Shall we all go on like robots?
Is this nightmare the devil’s plot?
Shall we die without peace?
Will this insanity never cease?
Shall I go on like those pretenders saying they’re following
man’s law?
Or, should I be the one to make this the last draw?
