I don’t want a broken heart again.
I don’t want to let you in.
But every time I see you, I can’t help falling In love.
I remember when he used to say forever I would be all he dreamed of.
I remember when he would say,
“Forever, that is how it would stay.”
I didn’t want to love you,
But I know it’s true.
I don’t want to be scared once more,
But I can’t close the door.
I don’t want to feel the way I do,
But I can’t help feeling it when I am with you.
I remember the way he used to hold me,
I remember the way he used to love me.
You gave better, you took this heart of mine,
And, you made it pure again, you made everything fine.
I don’t want to lose you, the way I lost him.
I don’t want our love to grow dim.
Because I can’t bear another broken heart.
I don’t want once again to be torn apart.
So please say you love me too.
And that I’ll always be with you.
