Life's Survival Battle Poem by Francis Duggan

Life's Survival Battle

Life's survival battle i fight every day
As my debt to society i struggle to pay
My money making ventures to success never lead
And tis true our friends we know in our moments of need
Far more are willing to take than to give and to share
And it is a rat race in the big World out there
And many grow poorer for each new millionaire
To billions of people life must seem unfair
I may be a sinner but in that I'm not alone
And you without sin go and cast the first stone
Big Brother is watching each move that i make
And i have to pay for my every mistake
One low in self esteem and racked by self doubt
And life's survival battle i know all about.
