Life Time Lie In Poem by Emily Rosey

Life Time Lie In

If a lie in could last a lifetime
Oh how happy that would make me
Cause it’s the best feeling in the world
Happiness completely
Snuggled up in bed
No goose bumps or shivers, just warm
Never wanting to leave
But you’re starving so you’re torn
Get up and see the mess you’re in from the night before
And risk catching pneumonia from the cold kitchen floor
Or stay in bed and try to ignore every tummy rumble
Go back to sleep and dream about custard and apple crumble.
