Lifebeat Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

Lifebeat

A Poem dies without rhythm,
but only bleeds without rhyme

All motion its substance,
—all coupling its shine

The lifebeat of words,
as they pull you within

Their cadence restructured,
—a song, now a hymn
