Lifeless Poem by Ayanda Marotya

Lifeless

''I am home, '' she said solely like a brood of fire in a main stream of wind awaking the hollow sounds of the echoing sings, such lost souls they are in their place never found.
But will they rest tonight upon this storm?
Gloomy clouds cover the stars
such my sight is blind.
Who are you there standing by the oak?
Is this boy my heaven sent?
Asked an old man leaping on one leg
such a pity life i feel for him to live lifeless the days without seeing shine.
Such lost souls they are that i felt my soul consumed by their dry eyes
no tears, no fear, no happiness, no spark of light promises from their eyes
but still they live.
