Lifeless River Poem by Jonathan Lavigne

Lifeless River

Rating: 4.7

I say life is like a river... hard to cross and vicious when approached... it has longing beauty with forever grace... passionately it flows this river of woes... forever I sit and glare on the fit... a perfect clover in amist... im hiding my real self... forever non true... im too afraid to get hurt from the likes of YOU... Im sitting thinkin playin so true... why do things keep happening to me and you... I have no idea on what to do thats right not even a single clue... so i sit here and pretend i know whats best for you... while in reality im just crying because i cant get the best of you... you hurt me ever so... im trying to just ride on with flow... but nothing i do seems to be true... so this river pushes me down past you... there i go in another reality it would be whole... but like everything bad... everything good comes to an end... and there you have my lifeless den.
