Lifeline - Poem by Rebecca Repas

Petals fall,
Raining on your face.
You look to the sky,
For a saving grace.

The flowers wilting.
The colors fading.

Yours for awhile,
Then ripped from your grasp.
Her lifelines been cut,
This sigh is her last.
