Life's Brevity Poem by Meng Lim Dr

Life's Brevity

My candle is burning low
it will extinguish before long
there's no cause for sorrow
to my own I still belong—

the fairest flowers fade after their glow
even forgotten is life's sweetest song
I'll relish the present hour not tomorrow
to love life and beauty is never wrong
