Light In Darkness Poem by Unintelligible Susurration

Light In Darkness

I've stopped killing
Myself,
Thanks to you.

It's an accomplishment
That you helped
Me reach.

The sharp objects
Are no longer
Inviting me
To play with them.

The drugs and the alcohol -
I've left them all behind.

It's just not
The same anymore.
I am a new person.

The little things
That tore us
Apart and crumbled
Our life
I will never touch again.

I have finally found
The light
In the darkness.
