Light in my darkness,
A never-extinguishing lamp,
Its flame rises ever upward,
Casting darkness beneath its feet.
If I could dwell within,
I would never wish to leave.
Why return to where shadows reign,
When peace within reigns supreme?
There is no strife, no euphoria—
Why is it so?
Because we are enlightened;
God has made His light our essence.
Who are we to deny it?
The divine light—
Whole to me,
Wholly my existence—
Forever and ever.
