Light Of Love Poem by Adookorn Auaduma

Light Of Love

Hatched from the cocoon of night,
the sun herald dawn with fulgent waft,
and spur soft rays of foretaste across the sky.

The sky, an enchanted seeker after laurels,
gradually broaden her smile with the soothing
kisses of the sun on her vast bosom.

The sun grace the sky with shrill smiles,
and flag the day of good will woven
with the ribbons of long suffering.

The people in the valley of shadow bask,
the warmth of sun, and sing her glary body
of prospect flaunted in the glen of shades.

They laud the long awaited dawn from her pen,
as the light of love lit the groping paths of man -
and searches for the good in people.

Their pains, the anguish of fellow being -
irrespective of race, colour or belief,
fall off a yellow leaf in autumn wind of love.

Pruned leaves of despisal sprout green buds,
and sculpt the long anticipated new dawn -
life blossoms as petal of roses.
