RIC S. BASTASA

Like A Bee - Poem by RIC S. BASTASA

You are lucky
When you run away needlessly
I am just like a bee
I sting

What a mishap then,
I could have been Dingdong
Our faithful dog
by our gate

Man, Dingdong bites and takes
A mouthful
Pound of flesh.
