“like A Magnet” Poem by Alberto Lee

“like A Magnet”

Like a magnet, you pull me towards you! Tugging at my heart.

When I am close to you, I lose all sense of direction!

Like the earth gravitates around the sun, my body longs to be near you!

Magnetic woman you're driving me crazy, I want to be close to you, and yet it's never enough!

Until that day, its a guarantee that I'll never be free!

So, like a child in expectation of something new, I sit here in anticipation of being with you!

Hi! The poem is short but good… it is the way how we feel when we are in-love! ! ! I can say it was pretty well expressed but not well-written. One of the many concerns writers and poets like us must be very careful about is how the way we use our words, whether playfully or not and so, we must be very careful about our spellings, because no matter how good is it that we are conveying if we have had clerical errors, it causes doubts and it disturbs the readers mind. Here there are just two that I saw: since – sense and garranty – guarantee. Anyways, I have enjoyed your poem. Good luck and may we find betterment in our field!
