So lovely was the day,

Sweet was the breeze,

Sweeter you were,

Before me you came with love!


Like a bride you felt shy,

The moment near you I went,

I wished to kiss your rosy lips,

Holding your snowy hand lovingly so!


When my lips touched yours,

Like the twilight sky you blushed!
