Limitless Poem by Abigail (Khrystal) Brown

Limitless

The first Shimmer,
worlds began with a word
a single burgeoning of that first utterance
that created, shaped, moulded, developed, a beginning.
straining lights into being, invading that perfect darkness
the full throated utterance of that first word,
that rolled off the tongue in perfect wonder,
Enchantingly beautiful, the mouth waters with the longing to taste them
relishing the flavour of the fruit of knowing,
poised on the brink,
Of that first word
The sensual mouth puckers
waiting to caress and seize the errant note between its red lips
A longing stroke of the delicate pink tongue which glides over the terrain of knowledge.
A shattering of the heavens at the call of it,
the total unashamed naming,
The stripping away of all things profane and holy
The stepping behind the guard rails and running scattered lose into the wild.
Poets....
Ye are the forbidden ones, who've tasted freedom
who have dared to remove the mist from your third eye
who've dared to be different,
the enlightened breed.
The opened minds for whom the veil of the worlds eye closes
leaving yourself in the true illumination which discovers you
Only in Darkness.
