Lines To Words



Why do I write poems,
with lines that often rhyme?
Someday I will surely see
It is just a waste of time.
\Putting words together
in lines that no one reads
Just to jot them down
is all my sad heart needs.
\What are lines in prose or poem
if nobody ever reads them?
What good to paint my pictures,
if no one ever sees them?
