Lingering Hope
she lingers in the dark alone,
looking for the one that will lead her home,
but he never comes to her,
he just carries on unaware.
what will she do without him,
just carry on and live in sin?
for one day another will arrive,
to take her away and bring her new life.
and he will lose what could of been,
to live alone and never be seen.
