Lisped Wings Poem by linda jenkinson

Lisped Wings

Rating: 5.0

for cesar

Still holding the glow of last summer
I fingerprint your skin.
Such fine bones you have my love-
Lithe and yet so softly and sturdily
Holding a gentle soul.
I shimmer from within.

In fact I think I glimmer
As you whisper of lisps of wings.
